CLASS AND REHEARSAL
PROCEDURES
- Students should be in their seats with their folders when
the bell rings.
- Students should have their folder, pencil, 3-ring binder
with journal every rehearsal.
- Students must place all personal belongings at the back
of the room against the wall. The
only exception would be purses which may be kept in front of the room in
full view.
- 7. All music will be kept in the folio provided to each
student. Music left in the chorus
room will be collected and a consequence will be administered to include
after-school detention, crunches, or a lowered grade.
- Students must compensate the department for lost music
and/or folders:
a. Single octavo: $3.00
b. Photocopy:
$1.00
c. Medley:
$5.00
d. Folder: $10.00
- Students store
their folders in the folio cabinets each day but may check them out
through the librarian.
- Students will respect personal and school property. Students will not touch things that are
not theirs. This pertains to the
piano and sound equipment with the exceptions of sound techs and
accompanists.
- DINE OUT! No gum,
candy, food, or drink in the room, except water
- A dated note from a parent/guardian is needed to excuse a
student from singing in class for medical reasons.
The note does not excuse them from attending to the lessons
taught/music being rehearsed in class.
Students are to follow along in the music, reading their part and
listening to see how it fits in with the other parts.
- Unclaimed personal
belongings will be collected and donated to charity.
